Wenlock Priory

Wenlock Priory is an English Heritage site at Much Wenlock, Shropshire. It's in ruins of course, thanks to a certain Henry, but still has a remarkable presence. I recommend using the free audio guide as it really helps to bring the place back to life. There is one small area under cover, with a bench and picnic table. Alas, no monk with a side of beef and a barrel of wine!
